"Jackson Moose" is an original hand-painted acrylic painting on canvas of a large male bull moose, by contemporary wildlife Artist, L. Gilles.

Note from the Artist:

Spending time in nature photographing wildlife, and painting the wildlife I've had the privilege of spending time with, are two of my favorite passions. I wanted to create a new series of creatively styled modern/contemporary wildlife paintings, from recent photos my husband and I had taken. A bull moose in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was the perfect subject for this painting. He was grazing in between some trees and the tall grasses came up to his chest. While we observed him, he decided it was time to rest and he laid down and took a nap right in front of us. It was an ethereal encounter.

● Stretched canvas
● Painted using heavy body acrylic paints
● Sealed with an archival semi-gloss varnish to help ensure your painting is protected for years to come
● Painting is hung with a wire that is mounted on the back

The back of the canvas is hand signed, dated, and titled.

The background colors are sage green and gold.
The colors on the moose are black, white, and gold.
